Welcome to the Village Life Improvement Foundation, a non-profit organization that has improved life in many villages since the year 2000. All projects undertaken by us in the last 20 years continue to work successfully.

VLIF believes that every individual deserves access to basic necessities like clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, healthcare, and education. Unfortunately, many people living in rural areas of Punjab lack access to these amenities, which leads to poor health outcomes, limited economic opportunities, and social isolation.

Our work has shown that it is possible to transform villages by providing a clean, healthy environment enabling rural residents to live an empowered and dignified life.

At the Village Life Improvement Foundation, we work to bridge this gap by providing the tools that enable a healthy environment and other essential services to people living in villages. Our team of dedicated professionals works tirelessly to identify the specific needs of each community and provide tailored solutions to address these needs.

We believe in the power of community-led development. That’s why we have a bottom-up approach. We work closely with local communities to build their capacity and promote sustainable management practices. By empowering people to take charge of their own progress we ensure transparency, participation, and a commitment towards continue developing their village. This contributes to ensuring the impact of our program is long-lasting and sustainable.

Whether you are a donor, a volunteer, or a community member, we invite you to join us in our mission to improve the lives of people in rural Punjab. Together, we can create a brighter future for everyone.

Through our work, we aim to improve the lives of 1,73,44,992 people living across the 12581 villages of Punjab. We aim to instill pride and confidence in the village folk, allowing them to dream big and aim for long-term development and self-reliance.

We could not have achieved what we have in the 16 villages that we have transformed, without the generous support from our donors and partners, both from overseas as well as from within the country.

We however, have miles to go before we can say that every village in Punjab is equipped with basic sanitation and hygiene and the community at large is self-reliant and empowered to sustain itself.

Your support is invaluable and therefore we humbly invite you to join us in our mission to empower rural communities and promote sustainable development across the villages of Punjab, India.
